Hello or should I say Bonjour, to all my fashion loves!
Autumn will be here before you know it. It has been Paris Fashion Week! What are the biggest things for this fall; well just be prepared, it is a lot different from what we are wearing now. The fashion world, as always, has been shaken, like the little snow globe that it is, and has changed once again. Paris Fashion Week has displayed what will be hot this fall, along with all the trends that, I know, I shall be following. Now I know, I don’t have the budget to purchase my fave designers collections, but I can emulate right?--as can you! So what have our seasoned designers brought to us this season? I will lay down the law for you and show some of my fave looks along the way : )
The Consensus
- black & white
- fur
- color blocks
- neutrals
- cutouts
- pop colors in looks--yellow & reds
- nudes, camels--also nude & black paired together
- wispy fabrics
- draping
- structured fit
- blazers
- architectural design
- 70s inspired
- bows tied around neck and collar
My favorite collection was by Miu Miu, it was just brilliant in my mind's eye. It was different as opposed to other collections. It reminded me of the 60s, but you know what they say, if you remember the 60s you weren't there, and I certainly was not. Thanks Dr. Clark. But the sixties were very mod, and had one of my favorite color pairings, orange and purple. This look below was my favorite. I would so wear this dress to a tea or garden party, and you may not be able to see it but, nice detail with the orange eyeliner.(( post script. orange eyeliner is only okay on the runway not in day to day life.))
